Description
The Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar is a precise replica of the company’s first humbucker-equipped electric guitar and the first with six movable bridge saddles. A lightweight, semi-hollow ash body gives the ’72 Tele Thinline a bright, sustained sound with tonnes of resonance. With real CuNiFe magnets, Wide-Range pickups produce fat humbuckers with the right high-end bite.
This guitar’s “C”-shaped, hard-rock maple neck and vintage-radius maple fingerboard are very playable. Knurled flat-top knobs, a 6-saddle hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles, “F”-stamped tuning machinery, a 3-bolt neck plate, and a beautiful gloss polyurethane finish on the body and neck make the American Vintage II 1972 Tele Thinline period-correct. The ’72 Telecaster Thinline recreates Fender’s most prized guitar’s tone and feel.
