The new Wharfedale IS 48 Active System is a versatile and powerful party animal ideal for mobile artists and entertainers. The system is built rapidly from 3 interconnecting columns and an 8″ active subwoofer. The 8” active subwoofer powers the full range column element and houses the mixer and media player module.
Two column components provide dynamic LED illumination. The IS-48 is a ‘party animal’ with four flashy settings and a ‘LED OFF’ function. Featuring SD card, USB, Bluetooth, and IR remote control, this system supports various media and events. With simple TWS system connection, two IS-48 units may be wirelessly connected for a comprehensive audio system.
IS-48 uses a 3-section column design. Two of the 3 columns are used for the internal LED lighting. The third column houses 4 x Full Range drivers. The columns connect directly with inbuilt connectors. Easy to set up – easy to pack away!
The “base” of the system (see what we did there?) is the 8.0″ active subwoofer. Along with providing the bass, it houses the power amplifiers and mixer control for the system. The columns connect directly to the top of this subwoofer meaning that no cables are required.
