The combination of a 1.75″ compression driver, 15″ woofer, two-channel 2100W amplifier, and a constant directivity True Resistive Waveguide produces coherent 100° x 60° coverage for the listening area with up to 131 dB SPL, distortion-free sound.
Merging RCF proprietary FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP processing, perfectly tuned for each model, the audience will experience absolute clarity and deep, powerful bass response. The sleek cabinet uses a special polypropylene composite material with an M-brace internal reinforcement, making it easy to carry and secure to install on a pole, flown-, wall-, or truss-mounted using the multiple rigging points available.
RCF’s proprietary FiRPHASE technology and True Resistive Waveguide reduce the high-frequency distortion that tends to come with normal speaker horns. These features also minimize phase issues (particularly in the low-mid frequency range), thus ensuring minimal latency and excellent representation across the entire stereo image.
The custom algorithm of Bass Motion Control (BMC) only limits the woofer’s motion at times of over-excursion. By allowing the woofer to “breathe” with the signal as naturally as possible — and only reducing motion when things are about to go overboard — BMC allows for improved sound integrity and extended bass representation without the phase behavior changes typical of other woofer excursion management systems.
The RCF ART 915-A’s cabinet is constructed from a special polypropylene composite material and also features heavy-duty steel grilles that protect vented ports and transducers. Its M-Brace design connects all four sides of the cab and amp, providing greater acoustical damping and improved reinforcement against mechanical stress.
