The tiny MOTU M64 Audio Interface has 256 MADI I/O channels. It’s versatile—connect it to your Mac or PC through USB 2.0 (compatible with USB 3.0 and iOS) or to your AVB network via Ethernet. You’ll get 64 channels of optical, coax, and USB/AVB-TSN network audio. The built-in DSP drives a 48-channel console-style mixer with 12 stereo buses and 32-bit floating point effects processing, including EQ, compression, reverb, and more. A headphone output allows comfortable monitoring. The MOTU M64 can route any input to any output, making it ideal for handling huge MADI streams.

With USB 2.0 and AVB Ethernet connectivity, the M64 is ready to connect to your computer, AVB audio network, or iOS device. It can even be controlled via Wi-Fi, allowing you to route signals, apply effects processing, and create multiple mixes, all wirelessly from your iPad.

Capable management for your MADI system

The M64 is a MADI router, repeater, splitter, converter, mixer, and networkable audio interface. We’ve created many live sound systems, network audio installations, and recording studios, and the M64 is perfect for controlling several MADI channels in complicated setups.

Comprehensive metering and simple front-panel controls

The M64’s full-color LCD screen displays signal activity for all inputs and outputs. And while the front-panel controls are very simple (only five buttons plus a headphone volume control), they provide full access to all hardware functions.

 

DSP emulations of classic hardware EQs, compressors, and more

Built-in DSP lets you apply amazing effects processing to any M64 input or output without straining your host computer or introducing delay. These aren’t generic effects—use LA-2A compression, British analogue mixing console EQ, antique reverb, and more.
