With various modifications, the Moog Subsequent 37 Analog Synthesizer builds on the popularity of the original Sub 37 Tribute Edition synthesizer and is perfectly suited for synthesizer aficionados, professional musicians, and sound designers. An new sound engine for improved sonic dimension—with more than twice the headroom of the original mixer—an updated keybed for a lightweight touch and quick action, velocity, aftertouch, and a higher-powered headphone amplifier are among the enhancements. The multidrive circuit of the filter has also been enlarged to accommodate a broader spectrum of dirtier tones.

The Moog Subsequent 37 CV features a silky keybed with enhanced playability, a high-powered headphone amplifier for live monitoring, and analog signal path embellishments that significantly expand your sonic palette. From behemoth basses to lashing leads to posh pads, the Subsequent 37 is a serious performers’ synthesizer with the hands-on control you need to inject serious expression into your live keyboard performances.

Enhanced analog signal path for greater sonic versatility

The Subsequent 37 offers a wider sound palette and control-voltage output versatility. Retuned Multidrive circuits may give the Sub 37 a more aggressive dirt range. Harmonic saturation and signal compression are enhanced by the Subsequent 37 mixer’s Ladder Filter gain staging. The Subsequent 37 is an affordable analog synth featuring classic Moog sound, real-time tweakability, and an Asheville, NC-made chassis with wooden end cheeks.

Duo Mode — and what it can do for you

The Sub 37’s Duo Mode — an architecture shared by the Subsequent 37. Each oscillator may play a distinct note while sharing the audio line in this two-note paraphonic mode. You can hold a bottom drone note while playing a lead over it, play in fifths, and produce other unique musical effects that a monophonic synthesizer couldn’t do..

 

 

Designed for hands-on control

The Subsequent 37, like the Sub 37 Tribute Edition, has 37 keys, 40 knobs, and 74 switches for manipulation. The extra-large filter cutoff knob is simple to reach with your hands while your eyes are elsewhere, and dedicated controls let you alter your sounds in real time while playing. Arpeggiated sequences let you spend hours tuning knobs and creating new sounds. No menus or remembering which button has the shift function.
