The Marantz Professional Turret is a unique, easy-to-use broadcast video streaming system for media creators who need a high-performance turnkey podcasting, gaming, and live internet streaming solution. The Turret features a daylight-balanced, full HD webcam with built-in H.264 video compression and cool/warm filters; and on the audio side, a high-quality 16-bit/48kHz USB condenser mic with pop filter and LED light ring. Simple and compact, the Turret provides a plethora of configurations for creating professional presentations. Great for desktop use, the Turret is also portable enough to take on location.

Your self-contained broadcast video streaming solution

The Turret’s internal USB hub and high-speed USB-C computer connector make it self-sufficient for streaming, podcasting, and gaming. Turrets include headphone amplifiers for simple audio monitoring. Skype’s current version supports 1080p HD video from the auto-focus camera. It supports Windows 7 and MacOS 10.6 or later (1080p HD video recording with QuickTime Player; 720p with FaceTime for Mac or other supported video-calling clients) and features automatic low-light adjustment.

High-performance audio

As an all-in-one device, the Turret may have reduced shortcuts.The Turret’s high-performance microphone has a 14mm-diameter back electret condenser element, sensitivity of -34dB (±2dB), max SPL of 132dB, and frequency response of 150Hz—15kHz (optimised for human voice). The tower microphone gain control and mic preamp are incorporated for your convenience. Monitoring the microphone signal directly while recording or broadcasting eliminates delay. Tower headphone output with level control.

The Turret delivers a clear headphone signal, essential for broadcasting, gaming, and podcasting. Its high-spec headphone amplifier has 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, total harmonic distortion of less than 0.009%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 100dB. The Turret headphone amp can drive almost any headphones to incredibly loud levels with world-class clarity and precision.

 

 

 

Futuristic and ergonomic

The Turret is simple to use and stylish because to its ergonomic, modern design. The main tower features the LED light dimmer, headphone output jack, headphone volume, mic gain control and mute button, and camera on/off. The tower’s rear contains a 12VDC input connection, 2 USB 3.0 internal hub connectors, and a Mac or PC output USB-C port. The microphone’s hinged, swing-out arm lets you place it near the webcam at the tower’s top. A 100mm-diameter LED ring light with cold (7000K), warm (3000K), and diffused daylight snap-on plastic accessory filters surrounds the camera.
