The Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is equipped with eight vibrant, 2nd generation Focusrite mic/line preamps that offer high headroom, copious clean gain, low noise, and vanishingly low distortion — perfect for tracking drums, guitars, vocals, and more. Want to take the bass or keys direct? Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic makes it convenient with its two extended-headroom rear-panel instrument inputs. Onboard ADAT I/O gives you tremendous flexibility: the outputs offer easy connection to any interface or digital system fitted with ADAT optical inputs; inputs let you cascade another Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic or any other ADAT-output-equipped preamp such as the Scarlett OctoPre, for additional expansion capabilities. The analog line outputs, fed directly from the mic inputs (or ADAT inputs), are perfect for feeding an analog console while recording with the digital outputs.
