Our travel series ukuleles usually have interesting colours or amazing graphic patterns, but the Flight TUS55 Acacia Soprano Travel Ukulele calls to mind traditional ukulele design with laminate acacia. Acacia is in the same family as Koa, and is a popular tone wood. It features bright tone, lots of punch, and great sustain.
ABS neck & fingerboard
The neck and fingerboard of this ukulele are made from ABS plastic. This is a perfect solution for entry class ukuleles, since it is not prone to any weather changes. You will never experience a sharp fret or bent neck on our Travel ukuleles. The neck features a wooden texture, which helps the instrument to feel unlike a plastic ukulele as you play it.
Flight TUS55 Pitch-perfect quality
Our travel ukuleles use a zero fret and adjustable saddle, which keep the string action low and intonation on point. Since plastic will not react to weather conditions like a wood ukulele, you will never have to deal with any future saddle adjustments.

Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. The headstock veneer is made of laminate acacia and matches the sound board of the ukulele. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully-designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always hold their tuning (once tuned).
