Its chunky, period-correct “C”-shaped neck gives you something to wrap your hand around, while its 7.25-inch-radius maple fingerboard and 20 vintage-style frets serve up classic playing feel. Enjoy a wide range of vintage-tinged tonal stylings, thanks to a Tim Shaw-designed spilt single-coil pickup.
You also get a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with threaded steel saddles for reliable intonation, while vintage-style tuning machines ensure rock-solid tuning stability. An anodized aluminum pickguard, chrome hardware, and a 4-bolt neck plate complete the picture. The Vintera ’50s P Bass includes a vintage-tinted neck and vintage-inspired color.

For players who want the style and sound of Fender’s golden era, we created the Vintera ‘50s Precision Bass. This bass boasts the powerful tone of the P Bass®. The decade’s preferred features—period-accurate neck shape, playing feel, and re-voiced pickup.
To recreate the original sound, we revoiced the solitary split-coil P Bass pickup. Its powerful, seismic tone made the P Bass a popular electric bass. The “Vintage C” neck includes a 7.25” fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets for classic playing. A 4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles and ancient tuning machinery provide old-era looks, rock-solid performance, and tuning stability. Chrome hardware, 4-bolt neck plate, and anodized aluminium pickguard are also included.
