The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV Tube Amplifier was designed by Fender using guitar player input. Overdriven, its upgraded preamp circuitry improves note clarity and articulation. The integrated spring reverb sounds smoother and sweeter than prior generations, even at severe settings. The Hot Rod Deluxe IV now includes ivory knobs atop a black control panel to make settings easier to read on a dark stage.

Three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power tubes give the Hot Rod Deluxe IV sparkling cleans and powerful distortion. Its solid-state rectifier keeps response quick and tight, and its revamped preamp section retains articulation and note clarity at higher volume levels. Hot Rod Deluxe IV is a flexible amplifier for almost any guitar with low- and high-level inputs.
