Fender has released the long-awaited Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster guitar. The brainchild of Johnson himself, this new model is designed with Eric’s own personal features and preferences, and it is made possible because of his expressed desire to give something back to the collectors, players, and fans who have supported him throughout his career.

 

 

Made with the finest woods available

The Eric Johnson Signature Model Fender Stratocaster guitar is built from some of the finest materials available. The alder body features a light 2-piece design with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The quartersawn maple neck has a 12-inch fingerboard radius, 21 polished frets, and a soft V-shaped neck profile.

 

Custom pickups wound to Eric’s specifications

The Eric Johnson Strat boasts staggered vintage-style machine heads, custom pickups with countersink screws tailored to Eric’s specs, and a highly contoured body and neck.

Vintage tremolo and ’57-style features

The Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster comes with a parchment ’57-style pickguard, a 5-way pickup switch, master volume, neck tone, and bridge tone controls, and a vintage tremolo with five tremolo springs.
