The Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster Left Handed draws from more than sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today’s working player.
Our classic Deep “C” neck now has smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a “Super-Natural” satin finish, and a newly sculpted neck heel for a very comfortable feel and easy upper register access. The Jazzmaster’s signature glitter and chime are enhanced by new V-Mod II single-coil pickups. The bridge pickup has a tap function that allows both a powerful, throaty sound or a lower-output vintage sound. The rhythm circuit switches both pickups in sequence for a fatter, higher-output tone controlled by separate volume and tone roller knobs. The innovative PanoramaTM Tremolo system with pop-in tremolo arm allows for deep, Strat-style dives and Jazzmaster warble.
The American Pro II Jazzmaster delivers instant familiarity and sonic versatility you’ll feel and hear right away, with broad ranging improvements that add up to nothing less than a new standard for professional instruments.
Jazzmaster players say Leo Fender’s floating Jazzmaster vibrato mechanism is perfect. The American Professional II Jazzmaster’s Panorama tremolo system has a Stratocaster-like bending range and smooth responsiveness. The Jazzmaster’s tremolo feels different since the arm form keeps the same. You may warble and flutter as usual and deep dive as required.
Fender achieved better articulation, clarity, and chime with the second-generation V-Mod II single-coil Jazzmaster pickups.
