The Albert Hammond Jr. Signature Stratocaster – Olympic White honours the sound and style that have inspired generations of garage band guitarists. Albert Hammond Jr. used his 1985 edition of a ‘72 Strat® to record guitar recordings for The Strokes and his solo work, including Francis Trouble, which was highly praised.
As a special touch, pickup switch position four engages the neck and bridge pickups together, while positions one and three are reversed. The massive headstock has a bullet truss rod nut, 3-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate with Micro-TiltTM adjustment, and Hammond’s signature.
A period-accurate touch, the large headstock brings an aesthetic straight from the ‘70s into the modern day.
There’s nothing like the timeless singing, snapping, screaming and sparkling sound of Fender ceramic single-coil Stratocaster pickups.
Pickup switch position four activates the neck and bridge pickups in tandem, unlocking Tele®-like two-pickup tones. Positions 1 and 3 are also reversed from the traditional layout.
This vintage-correct 3-bolt neck plate has our signature Micro-Tilt to alter the neck angle for your playing style.
The “bullet” truss rod design, developed in 1971, gives this guitar a 1970s look.
Stamped with our classic “F” logo, these period-correct tuning machines feature slotted posts for quick string changes.
