The ACB 50 is an all-tube 15-inch bass amplifier designed with famed U2 bassist Adam Clayton to provide the greatest vintage-era Fender tube tone and performance. Plug into Channel One to get Fender’s Blackface-era bass tones, while Channel Two has a flatter frequency response and a more contemporary sound.
Ground Lift switch, 1/4-inch Balance Line Out, and XLR Balanced Direct Out are on the rear panel, which traditional Fender bass amps lacked. Copy Adam’s lines or receive warm, harmonic richness from tube tone on the Fender ACB 50.
Tube amplifiers’ warm, gritty, and dramatic sound is hard to surpass, even for bassists who use DIs, modellers, and solid-state amplifiers. This amplifier’s 6L6 power section and 12AX7/12AT7 preamp section sound like Fender’s tube-packed bass amps and have 50 watts. For easy live sound and recording, the ACB 50 has an XLR balanced direct out and 1/4-inch balanced line-out.
The Fender Adam Clayton Bass Amplifier, inspired by Adam Clayton, has warm, harmonically rich tube tones for the studio, club, or stadium. The ACB 50 has two channels: a traditional Fender sound and a current hi-fi, flat EQ tone for all musical situations.
