The single M/E design includes 10 standards converted 3G‑SDI inputs and 6 independent 3G‑SDI aux outputs! It also includes a USB webcam output, DVE, chroma keyers, media players, multiview and more!

Limitless media potential

With up to 10 3G-SDI inputs for cameras and other media, this switcher can seamlessly blend close cams, wide shots, computer displays, music, green screens, and more! Each input features its own dedicated converter that can turn any 1080p source to the switcher’s standard. Essentially, each input can receive a different television standard and output a single unified standard — a feature that busy Sweetwater content producers and directors find saves tremendous time! Outputs are equally robust with program audio, RP-188 timecode, SDI camera control, tally, and talkback output for all SDI channels. And no matter how much I/O you use, the ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD offers full control directly from the front panel’s 2.2-inch LCD monitor and LED buttons. You can also link up with ATEM Software Control app for Mac or Windows via Ethernet or USB. ATEM Software allows nearly limitless workflow customization in addition to switcher control, media uploads, audio mixing, camera control, and more.

Control livestreams with software or hardware

With Blackmagic ATEM gear, livestreaming is smooth and efficient. The device features a built-in hardware streaming engine with output over Ethernet or USB-C. Computer software essentially detects the ATEM’s output as a single webcam signal which lets the mixer stream via Facebook, YouTube, and other major platforms (as well as work with common streaming software such as Open Broadcaster and XSplit Broadcaster). Those looking for even more hardware power can expand the ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD’s feature set by adding an ATEM Advanced Panel for professional switching or an ATEM Camera Control Panel for more camera control (both sold separately). Savvy developers will also be pleased to know there’s a free ATEM software development kit available for building your own automation control solutions!
