Wharfedale Pro KMD-7 Drum Microphone Kit

A heavy-duty foam-lined plastic container holds the Wharfedale Pro KMD-7 Drum Microphone Kit. Two KM3s, a KM4, and four KM5s make up the KMD-7 drum microphone set for live and home studio use. End address tiny diaphragm condenser KM3 is intended for drum overhead mics but may be used for piano and stringed instruments. Two stereo overhead KM3s with rubberized shockmounts reduce handling noise.

The KM4 and other dynamic versions use neodymium magnets for reduced distortion at high output levels. Designed for kick and tom usage, it works well on bass, brass, and amplifier cabinets. A spring-loaded adjustable drum-rim mounting device positions the four KM5 microphones perfectly for snare and tom applications.

The KM4, like the other dynamic models in the range, uses a neodymium magnet to provide exceptional low distortion at high output levels. Primarily designed for kick and tom applications it is also at home when used on bass, brass and amplifier cabinets.

KM5 TOMS & SNARE

The four KM5 microphones have a spring loaded adjustable drum-rim mounting bracket that ensures perfect positioning for snare and tom applications. The intelligent rim mounting ensures that the microphone will operate effectively and safely out of the range of sticks and beaters; in addition there is a cable tidy to ensure wiring is neat, tidy and safe.
