The Warm Audio WA12-500 MKII is a 500 Series discrete microphone preamp with DI (direct input) for high-quality, transparent recordings. Its discrete, Class-A circuit is based on the API 312 preamp. The WA12-500 MKII’s 71dB gain makes it compatible with dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones. It has a front-panel DI input for direct instrument recording and a switchable input impedance to match your microphone.
The Warm Audio WA12-500 MKII is clear and minimizes coloring in recordings. Its smooth, precise frequency response and high-headroom design provide distortion-free recordings.
