Warm Audio WA-DI-A Active Direct Box

The Warm Audio WA-DI-A Active Direct Box is a high-quality recording and live sound direct box. Its Class A FET amplifier and custom-wound output transformer give a crisp, distortion-free signal path. For excellent recordings and live performances, the WA-DI-A has several functions. The 1/4″ instrument input, balanced XLR output, and ground lift switch prevent ground loop hum and noise.

The direct box’s 3-position attenuator control lets you tune the input signal level to your audio system’s output. The bright switch clarifies your tone. The WA-DI-small, A’s sturdy construction makes it easy to travel and use in many locations. It may be powered by 48V phantom power or a 9V battery, making it suitable for many applications.

Intuitive, full-featured inputs and controls

Plug in your guitar, bass, keyboard, or other high-impedance instruments on the unit’s front panel. The Thru jack sits beside it, for easy access to run a line out to your amp, and the converted signal exits the unit via a sturdy XLR jack on the rear panel. The front-panel switches include Phase, Ground Lift, and Amp Out. On the back panel, you can select passive or active operation, and choose to engage the variable pad.
