As with past systems, the Evolution Wireless Digital receiver is deceptively simple to set up yet it packs plenty of control under the hood. Sync and Auto Scan options make it straightforward to connect and manage devices. Meanwhile, the crisp LED display shows signal strength and battery life of your connected device at a glance. And if you need more control, advanced features are just a few button presses away. Got a mobile device? Connect to the Evolution Digital Wireless receiver via Bluetooth using the free Sennheiser Smart Assist app for Android and iOS, and you’ve got a wealth of configuration and monitoring tools right at your fingertips. The EW-D receiver also includes a rack kit for seamless integration into your stage and studio pro audio setups.

With the Sennheiser SKM-S handheld wireless transmitter, setup couldn’t be easier. This device pairs to your receiver in seconds using the Sync command. Its spacious, ergonomic design allows plenty of real estate for handheld and stand-mounted operation. Just pop on your existing microphone capsule (not included), and you’re ready to rock ’n’ roll. One feature Sweetwater sound engineers are quick to note is the SKM-S’s foolproof on/off switch, which is as intuitive as we’ve seen in a wireless system. A pair of AA batteries nets you up to eight hours of wireless operation. Want to go green and save some green in the process? Connect the optional Sennheiser BA-70 rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (also not included) and get up to 12 hours of performance on a single charge.

Sennheiser’s EW-D Smart Assist App for iOS and Android can control every aspect of your wireless system from anywhere in the venue — no extra hardware required!
