The newly engineered clamp and goose-neck mounting system of the Sennheiser e 608 Instrument Microphone allows the user to place the capsule near the signal source for maximum realism and output level. The extensive dampening and shock mounting isolate the capsule and signal from external vibration, noise, and impact. The humbucking coil prevents generated electrical interference. The gooseneck mount provides for discreet instrument insertion and simple positioning adjustments.

The supercardioid polar pattern is best for removing off-axis ambient sound, which may create feedback and residual noise. The e 608’s dynamic element can be positioned in close proximity to very loud instruments without causing noise or distortion.
