Its selectivity ensures that all RF signals within the specified frequency range are amplified, while outside frequencies are attenuated. The AB 4 is powered by a connected ASA214UHF antenna splitter and includes a pass-through function that enables connection of up to two units per antenna cable line. If your wireless system needs a boost, we recommends the AB 4 — it’s a remarkably effective solution.
To ensure reliable operation, observe the following maximum antenna cable lengths:
- Cable length under 24’ (8M) — no booster required
- Cable length between 24’ and 108’ (8M and 36M) — use 1 booster per antenna cable line
- Cable length between 108’ and 216’ (36M and 64M) — use 2 boosters per antenna cable line
