In fact, its Scene FX section is broken down into five additive buildup effects and five subtractive breakdown effects – each with its own dedication selection button. A single large knob lets you tweak your effects on the fly. This makes it easy to dial in your RMX-500’s effects, without stumbling through confusing submenus or digging into unnecessarily complex details.

The RMX-500’s Rhythm Effects section makes it easy and intuitive to chop, slice, and dice your music and add to the excitement you’ve created with Scene Effects. With audio effects at the top, and a drum machine at the bottom, Rhythm Effects lets you control beat timing on both simultaneously with the Pressure Controller knob in the middle. Use the audio effects to chop, loop, delay, or offset your music with the Roll, Trans, Add, Reverse Delay, and Offset buttons.
