Description
When it comes to your beloved vinyl rig, one can argue that a high-quality mixer serves as the centerpiece, and the Pioneer DJ DJM-S7 2-channel Mixer is fully prepared to take your live show into the stratosphere. Ideal for clubs and similar settings, the DJM-S7 comes stock with two USB audio interfaces, fully compatible with Serato DJ Pro and a must-have when dealing with quick transitions. Eight performance pads on each channel give you complete control over quick triggers, with large effects levers accessing a slew of built-in Beat FX. The DJM-S7’s Magvel Fader Pro feels like a dream, leading to better scratching, more confidence, and a smoother performance. For even greater versatility, this impressive mixer boasts onboard Bluetooth, perfect for connecting phones and other compatible devices.
Acclaimed Pioneer functionality with excellent additions
The DJM-S7 takes much of what makes other Pioneer DJ mixers so exceptional and accents it with welcome additions. As the younger sibling to the highly acclaimed DJM-S11, the DJM-S7 inherits several key features, including its clean, easy-to-operate design. The DJM-S7’s large load button and 16 performance pads allow you to select tracks and navigate samples and features all 22 Beat FX from the DJM-S11. When it comes to creative mixing, the independent pad modes will let you shine all night, capable of everything from triggering Hot Cues on one channel and Beat Rolls on another to adding some spice to your performance by manipulating effects. Plus, onboard Bluetooth capabilities let you connect the DJM-S7 to any compatible device, perfect for handling audience requests and dropping sounds and loops directly into your mix.
Dual USB audio interfaces make changeovers easy
One of the reasons why the DJM-S7 makes the short list of mixers audioshopnepal will recommend to club owners is its set of two independent USB audio interfaces (sound cards). These USB connections allow one DJ to hookup while another is performing so that when it’s time to changeover, the music never has to stop. They also make battle setups super easy, even if both DJs are running Serato DJ.
Magvel Fader Pro lets you pull off scratch miracles
If you scratch, then you’re going to love performing with the DJM-S7 mixer’s Magvel Fader Pro crossfader. No matter what kind of resistance or fader curve you prefer, the Magvel can deliver it, allowing you to adjust between smooth crossfades and sharp cuts, effortless glide or stay-put stiffness, and everything in between. Do you sometimes get a bit overzealous with your fader flicks? There’s no need to worry about rebound, thanks to the Magvel Fader Pro’s shock-absorbing bumpers, which cushion the fader at either extreme.
