The Ortega RU5CE CONCERT UKULELE (electro-acoustic ukulele) is a concert-sized ukulele with built-in electronics. It is a continuation of the Ortega RU5 series, which is well-known for its high-quality construction and sound. The RU5CE concert ukulele has a spruce top that adds clarity and brightness to the sound, as well as sapele back and sides that provide warmth and resonance. This tonewood blend produces a well-balanced and appealing tone.

Fine tone woods with etched body top
With fantastic brightness and a strong mid-range tone, this Bonfire Series Ukulele is made with a spruce top, sapele back/sides and mahogany neck—all in natural satin finish. Top grade walnut is used for the fretboard and bridge that adds a high-end look with smooth feel. For visual elements, we used a photogenic tortoise style ABS binding and topped the body with a laser etched “Butterfly and Grass” design near the bridge.
Acoustic-electric
MagusUke preamp/pickup system with built-in tuner and quarter-inch output jack boosts sound in any situation. Volume and tone controls let you mix your sound, and the built-in tuner is precise and convenient. A quarter-inch output connection on the bottom lets you connect to any amplifier or PA system (cables not supplied).
Modern die-cast tuning machines
Chrome plated die-cast tuning machines with synthetic black buttons give the ukulele a clean and modern look while being easy to operate. This design keeps the gears sealed from outside elements for added durability. These tuners allow for fast re-stringing, precise tuning adjustments, and they have an effortless touch when turning the buttons. Here, you can also see the mahogany neck and headstock with natural wood grain coming through.
Concert size
The concert size (scale 380 mm) blends crisp string articulation with full tonal development from the 68 mm deep body for a classic ukulele sound that can be used in virtually any setting. This scale responds with a warm presence that can easily fill a room with sound. The Bonfire Series concert ukulele is equipped with four strings (high G tuning: G,C,E,A). These white nylon strings are designed for warmth and punchy tone.
