The Nektar Impact LX88+ USB MIDI controller, like the award-winning Panorama and LX49+/LX61+ before it, employs sophisticated mapping to offer you hands-on control of your DAW session. For a quick workflow, choose between Mixer, Instrument, and Preset modes. The labeled faders and encoders display the default instrument parameter assignments, allowing you to take your gaze away from your computer screen. The Impact LX88+’s 88 semi-weighted keys, as well as its pitch and mod wheels, provide a smooth, accurate feel. In fact, all of the controls on the LX88+ feel amazing, including the knobs, 30mm faders, and performance pads.

The Impact LX88+’s 88-note velocity-sensitive keyboard sports smooth semi-weighted action. This makes it perfect for playing just about any type of part. To suit your playing style, you get four velocity curves that gradually increase in dynamics. For certain types of synth parts requiring consistent output, there are three fixed velocities. Pitch bend and modulation wheels are properly placed to your left, with the octave and transpose buttons above them.
