The MDB-1P requires no external power supply since it is a passive device that transforms an unbalanced audio stream to a balanced audio signal through a transformer, resulting in excellent audio quality and minimal noise. It has a 1/4″ input and parallel output, as well as an XLR output for flexible communication. The MDB-1P also has a ground-lift switch to prevent undesired hum and buzz, as well as a sturdy all-metal chassis for dependable operation in a variety of environments.
