The Special’s classic Malibu body design and solid mahogany top, back, and sides provide a rich high-, mid-, and low-range tone that matches any genre. A smooth mahogany neck with a pau ferro fingerboard evokes the Fender neck feel and responsiveness. Fishman pickup/preamp systems provide pleasant amplified acoustic tone when plugged in.
