Built for tones that are so huge they have their own time zones, the Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster solidbody electric guitar has everything you need to be a rock master! The body is mahogany, offering up tones that are decidedly thicker than a traditional Jazzmaster. EMG 81 and 60 pickups create powerful hard rock tones, matched with a sleek Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster: girthy tones, effortless playability.
Unconventional Jazzmaster Style
The Jim Root Jazzmaster guitar’s crushing, dark, and ominous design is the most basic in the model’s 50-year history. The tall Slipknot guitarist removed the twin tone circuits and several knobs. The huge chrome bridge and fret markings are gone. Frightening EMG humbucking pickups, brushed nickel covers, single switch, volume knob, hardtail bridge – the rest departs from Jazzmaster.
