Description
The Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster is something of an analog for Jason’s style. Based on Jason’s Custom Shop master-built Telecaster, this gorgeous instrument pairs old-school soul with new-school attitude. Finished in Road Alder body with white double-edge binding and a black-white-black 3-ply pickguard, the Jason Isbell Custom Telecaster is worn chocolate burst with just the perfect amount of weathering.
Jason and the 400 Unit play Muscle Shoals-inspired swamp rock live, so it’s voiced for that. That, a comfortable mid-’60s profile neck, and a chicken-pickin’-friendly modified bridge make a barn burner Tele ready to groove.
