The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-Z Mic Activator employs phantom power from your preamp to alleviate a variety of dynamic and ribbon microphone difficulties while maximising signal quality, making it a must-have item for any studio or live toolbox. It optimises signal quality across lengthy wire lines as a mediator between your mic and preamp.

The Cloudlifter CL-Z protects your signal with direct-coupled, discrete JFET circuitry. You may adjust the input impedance to optimise any mic and drive even the longest wire lines with a variable output level (+12 to +24dB). A variable low-cut filter cleans your signal before it enters your preamp. The Cloudlifter CL-Z mic activator is great for live sound or studio applications!

The Cloudlifter CL-Z has a variable highpass filter, input impedance, and 25dB clean gain. Cloud’s Vari-Z impedance control lets you creatively load a mic’s output transformer, allowing for a wide variety of sonic alterations.
