AnalogiQ preamps and 24-bit conversion, for warm, musical sound

Allen & Heath fortified the Qu-SB with 16 of their superb AnalogiQ total-recall preamps. The DSP-coupled preamps provide phantom power, zero crossing detection, and a padless 1dB-step gain stage for maximum transparency and gain precision. High-quality, low-latency 24-bit A-D converters capture the analog signal.. A&H has spent considerable time refining the AnalogiQ design so it gives you stellar transparency, with minimum distortion and a vanishingly low noise floor.

Power-packed with smart features

Allen & Heath leads live mixing. The Qu-SB’s innovative features will be used nightly. like a patchable interface for Mac or PC multitrack audio. Or the integrated multitrack USB recorder with 18 channels of 48kHz, 24-bit recording and playback from your USB hard drive.. Impressive? Every channel equipped with Channel Ducker for auto signal attenuation? A&H’s ME Personal Mixing System compatibility? This allows any number of optional ME-1 personal mixers to be chained from Qu-SB’s dSnake port (or an AR2412 / AB168 AudioRack, if attached), giving each performer control over their mix and leaving the engineer to concentrate on the crowd.

Qu software v1.9 enhances the Qu series ecosystem. More Shure, Sennheiser, and Audio-Technica mic presets make dialing in superb sound quickly with any mic in any application simpler than ever. Patching channels between dSnake, USB, Qu Drive, and ME personal monitoring systems is one of several complex iPad control possibilities. Scene memory, Copy/Paste channel settings, USB devices, and user profiles with different permissions. Windows DAW control is in v1.9.
