First of all, the ZED-12FX gives you all the connections you need to hook up a small band, a duo, or a solo performer. Thanks to the 6 mic/line channels (these preamps are awesome, by the way) you can connect all the mics and DI boxes you need. Plus you’ve got three dual-stereo channels available, each with a gain control and a 2-band EQ. The FX in the name, though, is what takes the cake. The ZED-12FX is a mixer first, unlike many other mixers with effects. The ZED-12FX offers DuoPre preamps with 69dB gain and several routing possibilities. Four aux sends are prefade and postfade for effects monitoring. USB stereo signals may be sent to computers.
